Transformers Tests

Ardan Transformers are designed and produced as standard in accordance with IEC 60076.
Ardan Transformers comply with all the tests required in IEC 60076.

Routine Test (According IEC 60076-1)

Measurement of winding resistance (11.2).
Measurement of voltage ratio and check of phase displacement (11.3).
Measurement of short-circuit impedance and load losses (11.4).
Measurement of no-load losses and current (11.5).
Dielectric routine test (IEC 60076-3)
Separate source AC withstand voltage test (11).
Short duration induced AC withstand voltage test (12).
Leak testing with pressure for liquid-immersed transformers (11.8).

Type Test

Temperature-rise type test (IEC 60076-2).
Dielectric type tests (IEC 60076-3).
- Lightning impulse test.
Determination of sound level (IEC 60076-10) for each method of cooling for which a guaranteed sound level is specified.
